1.2 How does the RDF 30 PRO work? The Aqua Exclusive RDF 30 PRO has three inlets and two outlets. Water flows through the in- lets into the filter. The water is then filtered through the periphery of the drum, and particles are carefully separated from the water through the special cell structure of the filter panel.
Connect the system only to a power outlet installed according to industry standards and without a dimmer. • For your own safety, always consult a professional electrician in case of any problems. If you have any questions or concerns about your filter, you can email support@aqua-exclu- sive.com. RDF 30 PRO OWNER’S MANUAL...
3. Filter installation In this manual, we show you how to install the RDF 30 PRO on a pond/fish tank, but the filter is suitable for almost all fresh and saltwater applications. If you plan to install this system in a way that deviates significantly from the recommendations in this user manual, allow a spe- cialist to inspect the installation to ensure that all technical specifications have been met.
Before you start with the installation, you need to know how you want to install your drum filter. The RDF 30 PRO can be used for both gravity and pump fed installations. On the follow- ing pages, we show four drawings illustrating how the drum filter can be installed, two with a pump fed installation and two with a gravity fed installation.
