Nevertheless, this device can pose dangers if used improperly or not as intended.
Electrical safety is only guaranteed if the device is installed correctly and potential equalization is established, as described in the safety regulations for electrical systems. 5. 4. Security 4.1 Convention for safety instructions This professional device is primarily designed for commercial use, secondarily for responsible use in hobby kitchens after extensive training and can only be used by catering specialists or by trained people. Use your waffle machine to only bake foods for which the device is intended.
4.2 Behavior in an emergency Keep calm, help others out of the danger zone, unplug the device. Remove the plug from the socket or remove the fuse. Never put out fires on and around electrical devices with water. 4.3 Intended use of the device 4.3.1 Area of Application The operational safety of the device is only guaranteed if it is used as intended and in accordance with the information in the operating instructions.

Use precise amounts of dough, otherwise the excess liquid dough will be squeezed out the sides and dirty the device. During the baking process, steam vapors escape which can cause burns if touched closely. Therefore, only open and close the device using the bow handle (6).
Do not remove the waffle with a fork or other sharp or pointed objects. Remove the waffle with the included waffle tongs. Avoid using pointed or sharp objects to remove baked goods or caked- on food from the plate. Take a soft, damp cloth and remove residue immediately.
Check the power cable every day for damage. Under no circumstances should you use the device if the power cable is damaged. You should always remove any coarse dirt immediately after the baking process with a damp cloth or wooden spatula. Do not use cleaning agents or sharp objects that will damage the surface.
According to BGV A3 (formerly VBG4), electrical components may only be replaced by qualified electricians. 11.3 Initial Troubleshooting Measures Unplug the device. Contact our customer service team and they will tell you how to proceed with the device. Only have the device repaired by an authorized specialist or send the device back to us after consulting our customer service. Any manipulation of the device will void the warranty.
