1. INTRODUCTION 1.1. What is the VT 300? The Vecttor Therapy 300 system (VT-300) delivers electrical stimulation via electrodes on acupressure points of a patient's feet, legs, hands and arms to provide symptomatic relief of chronic intractable pain and/or management of post-surgical pain.

BODY FLOATING BF APPLIED PARTS The following System component and accessories are considered Body Floating (BF) Applied parts as seen in section 1.6 above.
1.10. CABLES TO VT-300 CONNECTIONS The following extension cables, electrode pads and bio/temperature finger sensor cables will be in contact with the patient body at all times and applied to body parts during treatment. Proper maintenance and care must be taken with all body applied cables and electrodes.

2.2. VT-300 AND APPLICATION SETUP Vecttor Mobile App is compatible with Android and iOS operating systems versions 12 and greater, on mobile devices equipped with Bluetooth technology. Note Close all other applications on Mobile device when operating VT-300 device. 1. Please download the Vecttor Therapy application from the Google Store or Apple App store on your compatible mobile device.
Connect VT-300 Device via Bluetooth “Add Device” from “Manage Vector Mobile App searches for iii. VT-300 Device is Connected Devices” screen VT-300 Device 4. Upon successful setup you will get a message and the device on the VT-300 will flash Green indicating ready to use.
2.4. 2.4. PRIOR TO APPLYING ELECTRODES TO BODY 1. NEVER place the electrodes over or near an area of broken skin. 2. Don't use any type of electronics (remote control, cell phone, computer, E Reader, listening device, etc.) as they could alter the temperature readings.
Example: • VT-300 system setup according to a specific protocol being run. • Rest VT-300 onto a flat surface. Connect all wires as per above instructions. The placement of colored connectors/electrode pads must correspond to the Note locations specified in the protocol. 3.
3.2. POWERING OFF THE DEVICE 1. Press and hold the power on/off button for 3 plus seconds until you see the power LED turn off, and the unit vibrate and indicate power off sequence by the built-in speaker. 2. Powering off the device in this manner will terminate all treatments and the application will also terminate treatment mode.
10. Never plug any cables into the Vecttor unit unless provided by Artaflex Inc. directly for use. 11. Only use electrodes and sensors that have been purchased from Artaflex Inc. specific for the Vecttor device. 12. Never modify any accessories and only use Vecttor provided and approved accessories.
Appendix I - CONTRAINDICATIONS, WARNINGS, PRECAUTIONS, ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY Contraindication VT-300 should not be used on patients with cardiac demand pacemakers. Thoracic applications are contraindicated. Electrodes should NEVER be placed on or near Contraindication the stellate ganglion and/or the heart itself. Thrombosis: It is possible that the current could produce chemical changes in the blood leading to alteration in clotting time.

Proximity to shortwave or microwave therapy: warning that any operation of any Warning equipment emitting shortwave or microwave therapy within 1m of the VT 300 may produce instability in the stimulator output and thus must be avoided. Skin irritation and burns beneath the electrodes have been reported with the use of Warning devices similar to VT-300 such as powered muscle stimulators.

Sensitive Skin and Nerve Damage: Use extreme caution when administering a treatment Caution where sensory nerve damage is present or in any case where there is a loss of normal skin sensation, including areas desensitized by medication. Skin Irritation: Some patients may experience skin irritation or hypersensitivity from the Caution electrodes.

VT-300 contains an approved Radio Frequency Transmitter Module FCC ID: QOQGM210P. VT-300 complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Appendix II –GUIDELINES FOR ELECTROTHERAPY AND ELECTRODE USE A. Electrotherapy Usage Guidelines: Electrical stimulation has the potential to irritate the skin. Iontophoresis, while unlikely to be a problem, occurs with all electric therapies, and can drive any of the above-surface contaminations below the epidural layer, where an allergic reaction may occur.

7. Make sure the electrodes being used are in good condition to avoid higher density settings (and perhaps skin irritation) due to defective accessories. Electrodes should have good adhesion over the entire surface area of the electrode. 8. Make sure that the skin where the leads attach to the electrodes are not damaged and that the connection to the backing behind the adhesive is unbroken.
