3. Safety guidelines Read the following safety instructions carefully before using the floor heating milling machine. Loading and unloading The two transport wheels (to the rear) make it easier to move the machine during transport. 4. Obligatory checks before operation of the floor heating milling machine The following checks are mandatory before using the floor heating milling machine type VLFR-D5.5 The milling machine must not be used if one or more of the checks show that either the power supply or the machine is not working completely correctly.

Before turning on the milling machine: Check that your work environment is free and clean of obstacles. Check that the safety features work properly. Check that the control switches work properly. If not, replace these switches before you start. Check that the tuck point has no cracks or deformations. Do you see any damage? Then replace the tuck point immediately.
Never block the tuck point applying pressure to its side. Only use Floor iQ diamond tuck points, as they are specially developed for our machines and give the best results. And increase the service life of the saw shaft and other components. Failure to use the original tuck points will void the machine warranty.
Mounting the tuck point Assembling the is done in reverse order: tuck point 1) Slide the diamond onto the saw shaft (leave the ring on). tuck point 2) Turn the 6-sided nut on the saw shaft and tighten it with the spanners provided . 3) Carefully tilt the motor back and reattach the plastic nut to the electric lifting cylinder.
Switching the machine on and off Switching on: Before turning on the milling machine, always turn on your vacuum cleaner. Pull out the red emergency stop button (left side of electrical cabinet) till the yellow area is visible. Press the green start button on the top of the machine Increase the machine9s speed 5) Then set the desired cutting depth in 8blade down9 mode (for wet milling, turn on water switch and adjust dosing valve).
Ask your Floor iQ supplier for repairs to your machine. Minor repairs? Check them out on your personal service page. If repairs to the VLFR-D5.5 floor heating milling machine have not been carried out by a competently trained person, this will void your warranty.
