Displays current playback mode (N:

Displays a track/artist name, time,
,Message and menu.
To switch display mode:
Press the DISP/FM button.
Switch the display to Power Save mode
when you do not operate the unit for a
while.
3 Repeat mode indicator
Displays the current repeat mode icon.

HOLD position
Set the Slide Cover to the
"HOLD" position.
Adjusting the
current time
setting
(Date-Time)
You can set the current time and display it
while the audio player is played or in stop
mode.

button until the following menu
screen appears.

to select "Date-Time" and press
i (VOL) to confirm.
The year digit appears in [ ].

to adjust the "year" setting and
press i (VOL) to confirm.

To release the HOLD function
Slide the Slide Cover in the direction of the arrow.

As you did in step 3, adjust the
"month" and "date", and press
i (VOL) of the 5 Direction JOG to
confirm.
The time setting screen appears and the
hour appears in [ ].

i (VOL) to confirm.

Press and hold the /MENU
button until the screen changes.
To cancel operating the menu screen
Press and hold the /MENU button until the
screen changes.
To display the current time
Press the DISP/FM button repeatedly until the
"Clock" appears.
Note, however, when the "Clock" is set to "OFF"
in the "Display Screen" menu, you cannot display
the current time by the procedure above.
z Tip
You can select the date format from among
"yy/mm/dd", "dd/mm/yy" and "mm/dd/yy".
Furthermore, you can select either 12 hours display
or 24 hours display. See "Setting the date format
(Date Disp Type)" , or "Setting the time format
(Time Disp Type)" .
Notes
• You cannot change display mode while using the
FM tuner.
• If the unit is not used for a long time, your
settings for date and time may need to be reset.
• If the current time is not set, the display for the
date and time will show "--".
