    Warranty repairs must be performed by a Cub Cadet Dealer. EngineOil Recommendations Using the proper type and weight of engine oil is extremely important, as is checking and changing oil regularly.

WARNING: If the engine has been recently run, the engine, muffler metal surfaces will be hot and can cause burns to the skin. Allow the tractor to cool and use caution when removing IMPORTANT:The oil filter should be changed at every oil change interval.
  • Page 21 IMPORTANT: If leaks are present, have your engine serviced by your Cub Cadet dealer before operating the tractor. AirFilter The engine is equipped with a replaceable, high density paper air cleaner element and an oiled, foam precleaner.
