    Before you get started… Before you get started… Intended use The TQX Speaker-Line-Cable-Tester is used for testing speakers and their cables. The device is approved only for testing directly connected NL-4, CA-COM or NL-8 cables and connected speakers. Any other use not described in this operating manual is unauthorised misuse. The manufacturer will not be liable for damages incurred from such misuse.

    Description of product Description of product The TQX battery-operated Speaker-Line-Cable-Tester is designed for testing speakers and their cables. For this purpose, audio files stored on an internal SD memory card are output alternately to one of the four speaker outputs. Symmetrical Line-IN and OUT connections, as well as in internal speaker, a headphone connection and a cable test function, make the testing device a universal tool.

All connectible cables can be tested separately, without speakers.     Operation Select signal output The device can output audio files to different speaker outputs or the XLR output. The headphone output and an internal speaker make it possible to listen to audio files without connecting speakers. The retractable loudness control always affects the active signal output. The following options are available: Muting of all outputs: Press the |MUTE| button to mute all outputs.

    Operation Select signal source The TQX can play both audio files on the device and signals from external sources (connected via the XLR input). The following options are available: Play audio signal/favorite on the device If an audio signal is played back from the device it is distributed to the outputs. Distribute external signal to the outputs When the device is on, a signal fed to the XLR input is distributed to the outputs as soon as the internal player is switched to Pause mode.
