Grip the TechMag 240 Full HD by the rear camera support to lift and move it to a stable surface such as a table, desk or worktop. The best way to do this is to wrap your forearm around the camera support from the rear and then lift the TechMag 240 Full HD.

    Advanced video controls Focus lock and position locator beam By default, the camera automatically focuses on the closest object in view. However, if you want it to focus on a specific object you can turn on the focus lock feature. This prevents the camera from accidentally focusing on your hand or any other item that moves in front of the camera.

    Turning LED lights on or off Note: The TechMag 240 Full HD has two LED lights designed to illuminate objects and other items you place on the XY table. This lighting is diffused to reduce glare and reflections. However, some items may be too shiny or reflective.

    Guiding lines and guiding masks Guiding lines display as two horizontal or vertical lines on the screen. Guiding masks block part of the screen to show only a horizontal or vertical slice of the screen. You can move either lines or masks together to change their position on the screen, or move one line or mask to adjust the distance between these items.

    Selecting lines or masks Use the center purple switch to display lines or masks on your screen. To do this: Press the center purple switch to the right to scroll through the following options: horizontal lines, vertical lines, horizontal masks and no lines/masks.     Using the guiding line The guiding line is a single horizontal line that is shown on the screen to help you keep your place. To use the guiding line, proceed as follows: 1. Press the button in the center of the blue color select dial to place a horizontal line across the screen. The line is displayed approximately one third of the way up from the bottom of the screen.

    TechMag 240 Full HD If you want to use your computer together with the TechMag 240 Full HD at a workstation, you can connect them by means of VGA cable. There is no need for an additional monitor. To switch to the computer screen, simply press the button on the TechMag 240 Full HD.

    TechMag 240 Full HD Settings The TechMag 240 Full HD can be configured for up to 12 color combinations – saved as positions 1 through 12. Positions 1 through 3 are full color (true color), black on white and white on black. The color settings for these positions cannot be changed.

To decrease magnification, turn it counterclockwise. there are 3 magnification ranges from which you can choose the best magnification power for you.
