The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code:
Blue:
Neutral
Brown:
Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may
not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the termi-
nals in your plug proceed as follows:
* The wire which
is coloured
blue must be connected
to the
terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
* The wire which is coloured
brown
must be connected to the
terminal
which
is marked
with the letter L or coloured
red.
If a 13-amp. (BS. 1363) plug is used, a 3-amp. fuse must be fitted,
or if any other type of plug is used, a 5-amp. fuse must be fitted
either in the plug or adaptor or at the distribution board.
Note:
When
not in use,
disconnect
the power
cord from
the
outlet.
Operate your Panasonic RF-2900LBS/LBE
radio receiver as you
would with any ordinary radio. To obtain the best performance and
take advantage of some of the high-performance features of the
receiver, keep in mind the following operating hints.
Operate preselector function to obtain better reception for LW,
MW
and SW1-3.

To correct a frequency display error:
SSB and CW Reception:
Set up the receiver in the same manner as for SW Reception, and
then:
@ Tune to the desired signal.
M@ Set the BFO Switch® to ON.
