    AB4000 Installation and User Manual Setup This chapter describes how to install and connect the AB4000 system. 3.1 Transmitter 3.1.1 Connecting to the Camera The Transmitter has multiple Hot Shoe connections options and powered from D-Tap output on the camera battery.

    AB4000 Installation and User Manual 3.1.2 Connecting Video and Audio To connect video: Connect the short SDI cable from the camera output to the SDI input in the transmitter. A green LED next to the connector turns on once a valid SDI signal is present.

    For Ikegami and Hitachi a small adapter box is placed between the camera and the transmitter, such that the straight cable goes to the adapter and then from its other side to the camera. The cable is labeled AB4000-XXX-TX-V1.0 with camera vendor. For the Ikegami and Hitachi camera, another cable labeled TX-ODU-IKEGAMI-CAM (or Hitachi as appropriate) provided, that connects the adapter box to the camera.
