Thank you for purchasing JAG4 JetAURA. As to the use of this unit, you must have sufficient considerations
after reading this manual carefully because it deals with alternating currents with high voltage of 2500V,
although the units is not stipulated as high-voltage equipment in the electric equipment standard.
Please read this manual before using the unit in order to fully understand its functions. Also make sure to store
this manual so that it can be referred to in the future.
Warning
• This unit is not specified as an Explosion-proof Type. Do not use this unit at a location or an atmosphere, in
which combustible gas or solvent is handled, or else ignition or explosion may occur.
• This unit emits ozone. Do not use in an enclosed space. The emitted ozone may be detrimental.
• A high voltage is applied to the discharge needle. Do not allow any conductive material, including your finger, any
part of your body, wire or any tool to get close to the discharge needle, or an electrical shock accident or a
malfunction of the unit may occur.
• The tip of the discharge needle is sharp, be careful not to touch the discharge needle.

maximum performance. Improper use of this unit may cause an accident resulting in injury or may lead to a

3. Outline

• This unit is an air gun type ionizer you hold with your hand and to use it freely.
• This unit is spraying ionized air on a charged object, neutralizing the static electricity of a charged object quickly and
effectively. Dust which has adhered to the charged object with static electricity is removed, and recontamination is
prevented.
• The high-voltage power supply and the solenoid valve are internal to the unit. External controllers are not necessary.
• Ionized air can be constant or pulsed(5Hz or 10Hz). By spraying pulsed ionized air, you can increase the dust removal
effect and save energy on air.
• Equipped with high brightness LED for lighting. Useful for checking foreign objects such as dust.

● Be sure to turn OFF the power and air before installing, wiring, or piping the unit.
• Be sure to earth the ground wire of the AC adapter. Incomplete grounding may cause damage to the main unit
and AC adapter. In addition, it causes a decrease in static elimination performance.
• For installation or using of this unit, pay attention to the contamination by oil/water, high temperatures or high
humidity. Especially, avoid a place subject to dew condensation.
• If the air includes water and oil, inside of the main unit or the nozzle gets dirty, the ability to remove electricity is
lowered, or causing deterioration of the main unit.
• Install the unit and AC Adaptor in a safe, secure manner, to prevent damage to the equipment.
Indicator light • Do not remove the air fitting at the bottom of the main body and attach another fitting.

Installation

• There is a hanging part at the top of this unit, but you can change the hanging direction of the main unit by
attaching the included hanging hook to the hanging hook mounting hole at the bottom of the main unit. If
necessary, use hanging hooks.
• In sert the included hanging hook into the hanging hook mounting hole at the bottom of the main unit as
shown in the figure below.

Wiring

Carry out wiring for the main unit and the AC adapter in accordance with diagram below.

• Connect the push-lock type connector of the AC adapter to the power input connector of the main unit.
• Connect an AC adapter to a power supply (AC100-240 V 50/60 Hz).
US plug
• When you connect the cable to the main unit and turn on the power to the AC adapter, the indicator light on the main unit lights up
in green.

Piping

Carry out piping for the main unit in accordance with diagram above.
• Install an air tube (outside diameter 1/4") to the air piping port of the main unit.
• Supply the main unit with clean, dry compressed air (not containing any water or oil portion).

Air fitting replacement

• This unit is equipped with a quick fitting for 1/4" air tube. If necessary, this fitting can be replaced.
• When replacing the air fitting, be sure to hold the bulkhead fitting and turn the air fitting to remove it. If you try
to remove the air fitting by holding the main body rather than the bulkhead fitting, the bulkhead fitting may
come loose and cause the unit to malfunction.
• In the same way as when removing the air fitting, when installing the air fitting, hold the bulkhead fitting and
turn the air fitting to install it.
• There is a serial number label on the bulhead fitting, so be careful not to damage the label when replacing the
air fitting.
