AC Charging

AC Charging
BougeRV's fast-charge technology is specifically for AC charging, offering 600W of max input power. In case of unusual situations (ex. thunderstorm weather) where the AC input current remains higher than 15A, the charging input port will initiate the self-protection function and the overload protection switch will automatically. After confirming the charging environment is safe and the product is normal, you can press the overload protection switch to resume recharging.

Car Charging

Car Charging
You can recharge the product through the Car Charging Input Port. It supports 13.5V car chargers and 10A Max charging current. To avoid failure to start due to insufficient car battery, please confirm that the vehicle has been started before using the car charger. BougeRV takes no responsibility for any loss or damages caused by failing to follow instructions.

PV Solar Charging

  • Support so ar panels to be connected in series and parallel. The total voltage after series connection must be less than 45V. The total current after parallel connection must less 25A.
  • The built-in MPPT controller automatically recognizes the in put voltage of the solar panel and tracks the maximum voltage to ensure max power input.

How to charge in series?

The panel can be wired in series to produce the expected voltage output.
How to charge in series?

How to charge in parallel?

The solar panel can be wired in parallel to produce the expected current output with the solar parallel connector.
How to charge in parallel?

How to charge in series-parallel?

Using four 200w panels to connect in series and then in parallel, FLASH-300 support 600W Max Input, 0-90% for half an hour.

The output of solar panels is affected by light and the angle of position, so there will be a loss of about 20%, if you want to achieve the maximum input of 600W, we recommend you combine with 800W solar panels.

Error Code & Troubleshooting

Module Error Code Explanation Troubleshooting

INVERTER

E01:
Overload Protection
The output power over 605W for minute, inverter turns off, overload character flashes, buzzer alarms; output power over 720W for 30 seconds, inverter turns off; output power over 900W for 1 seconds, inverter turns off When the code appears, please cut off the appliance in time, the error will disappear immediately, please insert the appliance which rated power less than 600W.
E02: Over-Temperature Protection Cut off the output when the temperature is above 176oF, and autornatically recovers when the temperature is below 140oF Please discharge it under the suitable temperature environment (14oF to 113oF)
E03: Over / Under-Voltage Protection When voltage of the inverter is over 140 or below 90V, it will turn off Step 1:Turn on the power station again and observe whether the error code is cancelled.
Step 2: If the code still exists, please contact our customer service
E04: Short Circuit Protection FLASH-300 detects that there is a short circuit in the electrical appliance Step 1: Cut aff the output immediately.
Step 2: Turn on the power station again and observe whether the error code is cancelled.
Step 3: If the code still exists, please contact our customer service.
E05: AC / Under-Voltage Protection When the voltage of AC is below 85V, the current of the AC input will drop from 25A to 10A. Please use the AC charging cable and compliant outlet provided by us for charging, and do not modify the charging cable and outlet without the guidance of a professional electrician.
PV P01: Over / Under-Voltage Protection When the PV input voltage is over 45V or less than 11V, turns off the PV input Please check whether the voltage is too high due to too many panels connected in series. If you use a single panel to charge, please make sure the voltage is over 11V.
P02: Overcurrent Protection When the PV input current is over 35A, it will turn off the PV input Please check whether the parallel connection of multiple panels leads to excessive current. It is recommended to increase the series connection and reduce the parallel connection.
P20: Overheating Protection When the temperature of the PV module is over 158°F, it will turn off the PV input Step 1: Stop charging and observe whether the error code disappears after the temperature drops
Step 2: If the code still exists, please contact our customer service
AC C02: Overcurrent Protection When the AC charging input current is over 26A, turn off the input The fuse will pop up automatically. If you want to continue charging, please press the fuse button.
C08: Overheating Protection Cut off the input when the temperature is above 167°F, and automatically recover when the temperature is below 131°F. Please charge it under the suitable temperature environment (32°F to 113°F)

FAQ

Q1: Can the FLASH-300 be charged while using?
A: Yes, the FLASH-300 allows pass-through charging BUT we don't recommend you to do that which will bring damage to the battery.
information Tips: using appliances under 100% full battery, appliances will only use the AC and the capacity of the power station will not decrease.

Q2: Why is the remaining usage time on the display inconsistent with the actual use?
A: Because the power of the appliance is in a dynamic fluctuation range, the software algorithm is calculated based on the real-time power, the actual use time will have a certain deviation from the display screen, this is a normal phenomenon.

Q3: What should I do if I want to use the car cigarette port to charge the FLASH-300?
A: You can use the cigarette to Anderson adaptor we provide, and then insert the Anderson into the FLASH-300, around 135W Max.

Q4: What kind of solar panel should I buy to charge the FLASH-300?
A: We recommend you to buy the BougeRV Portable Solar Panel to charge FLASH-300. If you want to know more specifications, you can search on Amazon using keywords: BougeRV Solar Panels.

Q5: Where can I find any video about the operation and use of FLASH-300?
A: Search BougeRV on YOUTUBE, enter our official channel, end search for FLASH-300

Q6: What matters should I pay attention to in daily use?
A:

  • Please keep FLASH-300 fully recharged at least once a month, 0%-100%. Please recharge the battery, when the capacity of the display is less than 20%.
  • Ensure that the operating temperature of the FLASH-300 is within 0-40 degrees.
  • The low and high temperatures will reduce the battery lifespan.
  • Please ensure that the storage environment of the FLASH-300 is dry and keep it staying away from direct sunshine and flammable sources.
