    3. Disassembly and Reassemble 3. Disassembly and Reassemble This section of the service manual describes the disassembly and reassembly procedures for the 400DXn/460DXn LCD monitor. WARNING: This monitor contains electrostatically sensitive devices. Use caution when handling these components. 3-1. Disassembly (400DXn) Cautions: 1.

Follow these directions carefully; never use metal instruments to pry apart the cabinet. Description Picture Description Screws 1. Remove 16 screws from the rear cover and lift up the rear cover.

    4. Troubleshooting 4. Troubleshooting 4-1. Troubleshooting Before troubleshooting, setup the PC ‘s display as below. • Resolution: 1680 x 1050 • H-frequency: 64 kHz • V-frequency: 60 Hz If no picture appears, make sure the power cord is correctly connected. Check the following circuits.

Causes: This fault occurs when the PC does not recognize the mode information because the DVI DDC has not been input to the monitor.
