1. Precautions 1. Precautions 1-1. Safety Precautions Follow these safety, servicing and ESD precautions to prevent damage and to protect against potential hazards such as electrical shock. 1-1-1. Warnings For continued safety, do not attempt to modify the circuit board. Disconnect the AC power and DC power jack before servicing.

Caution: Before servicing units covered by this service manual, read and follow the Safety Precautions section of this manual. Note: If unforeseen circumstances create conflict between the following servicing precautions and any of the safety precautions, always follow the safety precautions.

Keep the power cord away from any heat emitting devices, as a melted covering may cause fire or electric shock. Do not place the product in areas with poor ventilation such as a bookshelf or closet. The increased internal temperature may cause fire.

3. Disassembly and Reassemble 3. Disassembly and Reassemble This section of the service manual describes the disassembly and reassembly procedures for the 400DXn/460DXn LCD monitor. Remove the screws from side BRKT (top/ bottom-3, left/right-2) and separate the side BRKT.
4. Troubleshooting 4. Troubleshooting 4-1. Troubleshooting Before troubleshooting, setup the PC ‘s display as below. • Resolution: 1680 x 1050 • H-frequency: 64 kHz • V-frequency: 60 Hz If no picture appears, make sure the power cord is correctly connected. Check the following circuits.

Check whether the LVDS cable is connected correctly to the panel. Major checkpoints Check whether the lamp connector of the panel is connected correctly to the IP board.

4. Troubleshooting 4-4. No PC (DVI) Video Symptom The LED power turns on but the screen is blank when the DVI cable is connected. Check the DVI cable connections. Check whether the LVDS cable is connected correctly to the panel. Major checkpoints Check whether the lamp connector of the panel is connected correctly to the IP board.
