ELECTRONIC DIGITAL DOOR LOCK FUNCTION GUIDE
Model PL100
Factory Defaults
This lock has been preprogrammed with a Factory Default Master Code of 123456 and a
Default Access Code of 0#. Anyone will have access to open the lock using 0#.
FOR SECURITY PURPOSES, THE DEFAULT MASTER CODE MUST BE CHANGED.
Should you forget your Master Code, you will have to do a master reset, which restores
the lock to the factory defaults and erases all settings. At this point, you will need to
start your programming over.
Function Codes
01... Add Person (with NO time restrictions)
02... Disable User Code/Card/Fob
03... Enable User Code/Card/Fob (that was previously
disabled using Index Number previously assigned)
11... Change Master Code without deleting users
22... Change Master Code AND will delete ALL users
44... Delete 1 User Code/Card/Fob by Index Number
(frees Index Number for future use)
Master Code Change — Function 11
Fuction 11 — Your new Master Code needs to be 4-8 digits. Here is an example of chang-
ing your Master Code to '1234.' The steps: #,123456,#,11,#,1234,#,1234,##
After the Factory Master Code change, 0# will no longer work as the Access Code. At this
point you must create new access code(s).
Index Numbers
Index numbers are #'s you assign to some functions to help you keep track of the
programming you do and who you do it for.
Certain functions will require an Index #. We have a tracking sheet on page 6.
Your first Index number will be 001. Each time you use an Index#, track it on your sheet
for your reference. You have 200 index numbers available. We suggest that you use them
sequentially. Index #'s are required to add, disable, or delete a digital door lock user.
Programming New Access Code — Function 01
Fuction 01 — Your new Access Code needs to be 4-8 digits. This will allow access with no
time restrictions.
The steps: #,(Your Master Code),#,01,#,(Index#, 001-200),#,(New access code),####
To open the lock, use your new access code followed by #.
