Unpack the components carefully. Please check all parts have been removed from the packaging.

4x AA batteries (not included)
Back
ALWAYS USE ALKALINE BATTERIES.
DO NOT USE LITHIUM BATTERIES.
DO NOT USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES.
Lightly push from the front to release the flip tab, then gently
push cover back in the direction of the arrow to lift the lid.
To close the cover, push from back to front. Make sure cover sits
firmly in place and does not move.
Make sure the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity and
the cover is locked back in place.
