GENERAL INFORMATION
The Zenith Models
S-14028, S-14029, S-14030, S-1403I, and
S-14036
Re-
cord
Changers
are
designed
to
play
18,4i, and 33-l/3,RpM
records.
These changers
will
play
and
automatically
change as many as ten
12"
or
ten
10"
records
at
a
single
loading, at the
speed
of 33-l/3
"I-ong
play"
or
?8
RPM "Standard" records.
NOTE:
10" and 12"
records.of
the same type
cannot
be intermixed.
A
full
stack
of ?" 33-l/3, or
a
full
stack of ?"
4b RpM
records
(with
the
adapter
inserted in
the
records)
can also
be
played
on
these
changers.
The
last record will
continue
to play until
the
changer
is
turned off.
With
a
few
minor
exceptions, these five.changers are electrically
alike.
The basic
changer
for
S-14029, S-14030, and S-I4031
is
the
S-14028.
The
determining factor for
Models
S-14029, 5-14030,
and S-1403I
i.s
the addi-
tion of
cable assemblies
for
tone
arm
and
AC
connections. The
only
differences
in
these cables
are
the lead
length
and
the plugs.
The
5-14036
Record
Changer
is basically identical
to
the
S-14028,
except
it
uses
a
50-60-cycle motor
and
is
used
primarily for the
export mar-
ket.
The other differences are
the
tone
arm and the
AC
ccnnecting
cables.
Connect
these changers only
to an
outlet
supptying lI? volts,
60
cycles
AC, unless otherwise
specified.
