The communication between the color sensor and the network uses the character-based (ASCII) Telnet protocol via TCP/IP. There are several commands to request data from the sensor. In the network the CR200E or CR210E is addressed by an adjustable IP-address and subnet mask. The TCP-port 23 (Telnet) is used.
