Mounting the switch on a workbench IMPORTANT: • Reserve a minimum clearance of 10 cm (3.9 in) around the chassis for heat dissipation. • Do not place heavy objects on the switch. To mount the switch on a workbench: Verify that the workbench is sturdy and reliably grounded. Place the switch with bottom up, and clean the round holes in the chassis bottom with dry cloth. -

Symptom The system status LED on the switch indicates a fan tray failure. Solution When a fan tray issue occurs, contact Intelbras Support. Configuration terminal display issues If the configuration environment setup is correct, the configuration terminal displays booting information when the switch is powered on. If the setup is incorrect, the configuration terminal displays nothing or garbled text. - Page 39 Verify that the console cable is correctly connected. Verify that the console cable does not have any issues and the terminal settings are correct. If the issue persists, contact Intelbras Support. Garbled display Symptom The display on the configuration terminal is garbled.
