This guide is intended to help
you get started quickly. It is not a
substitute for the full manual which
contains detailed information.
INSTALLING TOUCH SWITCHES
Clockaudio Touch Switches can be
used to mute microphones via DSP.
Connect up to 4 Touch Switches to
the 4 TS ports (one Touch Switch
per TS Port) with a standard CAT5
cable.
INSTALLING ARM-C
The ARM-C port is used to control
motorized boundary microphones.
Connect an ARM-C device to the
the ARM-C port with a standard
RJ12 cable.
CONNECTING POWER
Connect power to the CUT-4 using
an external 12VDC power supply
(see user guide for polarity). Data
and power can be daisy chained
for ease of installation.
DAISY CHAINING
POWER AND DATA
Connect the first unit to an external
power supply. Connect the OUT
terminal block on unit one to
the IN terminal block on unit 2.
Continue for up to 6 total units.
To daisy chain CUT-4 units, connect
Port 2 on unit one to Port 1 on the
second unit. Continue for up to 6
total units.
CONNECT TO A NETWORK
Using either PORT 1 or PORT 2,
connect the CUT-4 to a gigabit
switch that is connected to the
network.
Ensure there is a DSP unit also
connected to the network for audio
output.
