For BioMant-Compact BE as well as EL models from 2020 onwards follow the instructions in chapter 14 b. For BioMant-Compact EL, which are older than 2020, the setting can only be adjusted by using an external keyboard. Please ask an authorised service center. -

OPERATING A COMPACT-BE STARTING A COMPACT – BE (with petrol motor) To use the petrol version of the BioMant-Compact, please follow the below instructions: 1. Switch the fuel valve of the petrol motor to the ON position To start a cold engine, move the chocke lever to the CLOSED position. - Page 8 7. To start the water flow, engage the spray gun and hold the lance firmly. Let the water flow to reach the set temperature. 8. For weed control use the low-pressure lance. Spray the plants to be treated making sure the foliage and the plant is completely wetted with hot water. For high-pressure cleaning, use the high-pressure lance with nozzle and set the desired temperature for cleaning (not MAX).

OPERATING A COMPACT-EL STARTING A COMPACT – EL (with electrical motor): To use the electrical version of the BioMant-Compact, please follow the below instructions: 1. Connect the supplied power plug to a suitable power outlet. CAUTION: When using an external power source, e.g. an emergency generator, please ensure that the power supply is constant and stable, or the machine can be damaged. - Page 10 • Do not use the machine when barefoot. • Always wear rubber boots and a safety mask when operating the machine. • Protective clothing should be worn for your own protection • When opening the spray gun, there is a slight kickback. Ensure that you hold the spray gun securely.

WARNING RELATING TO THE USE OF ACCESSORIES When using accessories that are not part of the standard equipment, read the usage instructions through carefully. Always check whether the accessory used is compatible with the features of the BioMant-Compact machine. • Check the oil level of the high-pressure pump regularly by checking the oil level gauge. The oil level has to be above the minimum mark on the oil level gauge. Don’t start the machine if the oil level is too low. If the oil level is too low, fill in oil until the oil level reaches the upper mark. - Page 14 The machine packaging and the machine itself and the various liquids must be disposed of in an environmentally responsible way, without contaminating the soil, air or water, and in accordance with the relevant local legislation in force. HANDLING WASTE: • Materials containing iron, aluminium, copper: recyclable materials must be brought to a recognised collection point.
