Electronic Parking Brake

TPMS
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Recalibration
The TPMS must b e recalibrated each time the tire pressure in one or more
tires has been adjusted, or after one or more tires has been changed,
exchanged or repaired. Once the system is updated the new tire
pressures are stored in the system after approximately 20 minutes of
normal driving. To recalibrate the TPMS:
1.
Turn the ignition ON.
Press the
button on your touchscreen.

Select

Select
to store the tire pressure.

Confirm
Note: Jetta S model trims are not equipped with a spare tire.
Keyless Access
Unlock
1.
Make sure you have your key fob with you.
To unlock the driver door, push the button on the door handle once.

To unlock all doors, push the button on the door handle twice.

Pull the handle to open the door.

Push the button on the door handle once.

Customize which Doors to Unlock with Keyless Access
1.
Make sure the vehicle is parked. The vehicle will not allow you to
customize Keyless Access while driving.
Select
from the Infotainment touchscreen.

Open and close settings.
Select
doors and select which doors to lock or unlock with

Unlock
keyless entry.
"All doors" unlocks all doors.
"Single Door" unlocks only the driver's door.
"Vehicle side" unlocks only the door(s) on the side where the key is at the moment.

Using the Electronic Parking Brake
Switching the Parking Brake On
When the vehicle is stationary, pull up on and hold the
engage the parking brake. The parking brake is activated when a red LED
( ®)
light illuminates on the
switch and
cluster display. The electronic parking brake will automatically activate if
the vehicle is traveling under speeds of about 2 mph and the driver door
opens.
Turning the Parking Brake Off
With the vehicle's ignition on, press the brake pedal and press
( ®)
the
switch.
OR
When the engine is running, press the accelerator pedal lightly without pressing the brake pedal. The red indicator light will
go out when the electromechanical parking brake is no longer engaged.
