  • Page 4 Setting up iGlucose Glucometer ® When you see and “Apply a drop of blood” on screen, place pierced finger on top of test strip. Line must turn completely red. If not, remove lancet and retry. Meter will count down from 5, then show result.
  • Page 5 Setting up Lancing Device Hold base of lancing device in one hand and cap in the other. Gently press down and pull apart. Firmly insert a fresh lancet into opening of lancing device. Twist off round cover of lancet and set it aside for later. Firmly put cap back on lancing device.
  • Page 6 Setting up Lancing Device Turn top of cap to choose how deeply lancet will penetrate. Hold base of lancing device and pull on the bottom, then release. Lancing device is now ready for blood glucose test. References 1. Make sure the entire fill line turns red when applying the drop of blood to test strip.
