OMEGA Compact
Spare Part Kit Instruction
Following items could be changed if or when necessary:
1.
Adapter O-ring
2.
Gasket on the cover
3.
Gasket on the Housing
4.
O-ring for Slide
5.
O-ring for Cover
Slide bearing
How to change the items:
MAKE SURE VALVE IS NOT PRESSURIZED BEFORE DISASSEMBLY.
1. Adapter O-ring:
•
Remove actuator from adapter.
•
Remove the adapter bolts A and the adapter.
•
Remove the existing O-rings and place the new ones.
•
Use silicone grease ONLY for lubricating the O-rings and grooves.
NOTE! The inner surfaces of the grooves must not be damaged.
2. Gasket on the cover:
•
Remove the existing gasket and impurities from the sealing surface of the cover and the Adapter. The Sealing surfaces
must not be damaged.
•
Place the new gasket.
3. Gasket on the housing:
•
Remove the cover bolts and the cover.
•
Remove the existing gasket and impurities from the sealing surfaces of the housing and the Cover. The Sealing surfaces
must not be damaged.
•
Place the new gasket.
4. O-ring for Slide:
•
Remove the slide from the body.
•
Remove the o-ring using the tip of a flat head screwdriver. Be careful NOT to damage the groove.
•
Use silicone grease ONLY for lubricating the groove.
•
Mount the O-ring in the slide groove by using a flat surface e.g. the shaft of a screwdriver to press the o-ring in the
groove.
•
When the o-ring is mounted and grease-lubricated, place the slide in the grease lubricated slide bearing in the housing.
5. O-ring for Cover (If there is a groove on the cover)
•
Remove the existing o-ring on the cover
•
Remove possible impurities in the groove
•
Place the new o-ring in the groove and grease-lubricate
Grease-Lubricate the slide bearing in the cover and place the cover carefully on the housing, fasten the cover bolts in star
formation. Place the adapter on the cover and fasten the adapter bolts.
Tightening torques:
•
M10 -> 60 Nm
•
M12 -> 90 Nm
•
M16 -> 200 Nm
•
M20 -> 400 Nm
