1. Setup

► Remove remote from box.
► Remove battery cover plate on rear and remove battery to access and remove plastic battery isolating tab.
► Re-insert battery.
*Linx remotes should be kept out of reach of children at all times.

2. Set the number of Channels (for 15 channel remote)

► Hold LEFT and RIGHT buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds.
► LCD should display C first, then 15 after about 3 seconds.
► Use LEFT or RIGHT to change the number of required channels.
► Press and hold STOP button for 3 seconds, "O" will appear, the new settings are saved.
(This hides the unused channels, which can be shown again by repeating the above steps)
3.Pairing Remote to Motor
►Select the desired Channel on remote (15 Channel Remote Only).
►Press and hold the button on the motor head for about 2 seconds
until the motor jogs and gives 1 long beep.
►Hold the STOP button on remote for 5 seconds (motor double
jiggles in response).
ONLY WORKS WITHIN 7 SECONDS OF POWERING THE MOTOR.

4. Check Motor Direction

► WARNING: MAKE SURE DIRECTION IS CORRECT BEFORE SETTING LIMITS.
UP should roll the blind fabric onto the roller.
► To change direction, hold the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously for about 2 seconds.
► Motor jogs to confirm direction changed.

5. Setting Limits

First decide if you wish to set the inner limit manually or automatically. Manually setting the inner limits is the default setting.
If you wish to set your own inner limit, move onto steps 5a and 5b.
If you wish to set the inner limit automatically (ONLY ON FULL CASSETTE AWNINGS) use steps 5c and 5d.
5a SET INNER LIMIT MANUALLY
► Move to the inner limit position (blind will move in Step Mode).
► (Hold the button down for 3 seconds for Continuous Run Mode). BE CAREFUL AS LIMITS AREN'T SET YET.
► Hold UP and STOP buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to set limit. (2 jogs + 3 beeps).
5b SET OUTER LIMIT MANUALLY
► Move to the outer limit position (blind will move in Step Mode).
► (Hold the button down for 3 seconds for Continuous Run Mode). BE CAREFUL AS LIMITS AREN'T SET YET.
► Hold DOWN and STOP buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to set limit. (2 jogs + 3 beeps).

  • Page 3 Linx® Argo 40/15 Motor Instructions Enabling and disabling remote control ►To disable the remote response of the motor, press the P1 button on the motor head for 6 seconds (motor will jog at 2 seconds, then jog and beep twice at 6 seconds) Motor will not respond to the remote. ►To re-enable the remote response of the motor, press the P1 button on the motor head for 2 seconds until the motor jogs.
