Avidyne SkyTrax Series ADS-B Receiver Installation Manual 1.2 Overview This manual applies to the Avidyne SkyTrax 1xx and SkyTrax 2xx series of products, which will be collectively referred to as simply SkyTrax in the remainder of this manual. Where a specific model is being referenced, the full model name will be used.

The Antenna must be installed no less than 2 feet from any L-Band (Transponder, TCAS, TAS, DME) antenna. Failure to adhere to this critical installation note will result in failure of the SkyTrax Receiver.

Equipment Description This unit receives messages from other ADS-B Out equipped aircraft and receives TIS-B and ADS-R messages from ADS-B Ground Stations.
