    OPERATION & MAINTENANCE MANUAL SWDE120B-3  Run engine at low rev for 3 minutes to cool down the machine.  Stop engine, take out key from key switch.  Switch off hydraulic control switch.  Use chocks to block crawlers, and boom down the drilling mast, and pin the orientation prick on the ground if the machine has to stay on slope.

After stopping the engine, the engine temperature may rise immediately. Open engine compartment doors to cool engine as soon as possible and clean engine apartment.

(Power off the engine, wait for 15 minutes to let the oil to return to the bottom of the tank.) The oil surface should be between the MIN and MAX of the oil level gauge.

DRILLING OPERATION Attention should be paid while positioning drilling, pull the control handle lightly to move all the cylinders slowly, observe the parts moving to prevent machine damage and oil pipe broken from parts intervening, especially for preventing personal injury from broken glasses caused by the cab hit by drill frame.

Move the drilling tool up and down within short distance to blow away the rock powder. Raise up the drilling tool above ground. Stop air fan when the impactor is close to drilling hole. Don’t stop drilling until impactor leaves out of hole.
