Starting up Starting up Create all connections while the device is off. Use the shortest possible high-quality cables for all connections. Take care when running the cables to prevent tripping hazards. Connections in DMX mode Connect the DMX input of the device to the DMX output of a DMX controller or another DMX device. - Page 18 Starting up Connections in master/slave When you configure a group of devices in master/slave mode, the first unit will control the mode other units for an automatic, sound-activated, synchronized show. Operation Operation Starting up the device To start up the device, connect it to the mains. The device is immediately ready for operation. To select an operating mode, press [Mode]. If you do not press any key for about ten seconds, the display will be blanked. - Page 23 Operation DMX mode This setting takes effect only when the device is operated under DMX control. Press [Mode] until the display shows ‘d.xxx’ . Use the [Up] and [Down] buttons to select a DMX address in a range from ‘d.001’ to ‘d.512’ . Press [Setup].
