Lights when a disc is being played.

Indicates the type of disc loaded.
DIGITAL SOUND indicator
Lights when a disc with digital sound
is played. Also lights when the digital
signal is selected during LD playback.

When a disc is loaded, the numbers on this calendar light up to indicate the chapter/track
numbers recorded on the disc. If 20 or more chapters/tracks are recorded on the disc, the ">"
indicator lights.

DISC SIDE A/B buttons
When a two-sided LD is loaded, side A is the side
with the label facing upward, and side B is the side
with the label facing downward. Depending on how
the LD is loaded, the A and B buttons may not
correspond with the indications on the indications
on the label (A, B or 1,2).

Lights when the display window and TV screen are
turned off using the FL & DISPLAY button.
Control panel
The control panel can be opened by pushing on the section indicated
by the "DOOR OPEN" label. To close the control panel, gently push
the door in until it clicks.

Used to input the chapter/track number
in Search or
Program mode. These buttons are also used to specify

Lights during program playback.

When a CDV disc is loaded, the track numbers of the video part light followed by the track
numbers of the audio part.
When a chapter or track finishes playing, the corresponding number is turned off on the
display.
