Quick Guide: DB350 Flex Cart Start Up & Shut Down ® Warning: Before beginning the startup of the Flex Cart, make sure the cart is in the proper place for blasting. If blasting indoors, move the cart close to the blasted surface. If the blasted surface is outdoors, leave the Flex Cart inside and cover the remaining distance with the blast hose.

Flex Cart Start Up Caution: Make sure the machine is off and depressurized before completing the startup steps. The air-inlet shutoff valve on the blast pot should be closed and the blow down valve should be open. Make sure the caster wheels are set to the locked position.

5. Connect the blast pot to the power supply as shown in the Figure below. Power supply cord (connect this cord) Redhead electric deadman power supply (do not Connect the power supply cord to the cord on the air cooling connect this cord) and drying system.

8. Turn on the compressor or other air source and let compressor idle for 10-15 seconds before allowing air to flow freely to the Flex Cart. Slowly open the lever on the accessory ball valve if applicable. Warning: Follow all safety procedures listed in your blast pot user manual before, during, and after active blasting.

Flex Cart Shut Down Caution: If using a compressor for air source, DO NOT turn the compressor off when starting the shut down process. Failure to leave the compressor running will cause a backflow of air, water, and media into the system and could damage the machine.

5. After each blast, drain the water from the moisture trap next to the air drying and cooling system by loosening the screw on the bottom of the trap. Loosen screw on moisture trap 6. After each blast, drain the water from the filter on the side of the air drying and cooling system by loosening the wingnut on the bottom of the device.
