• Those with poor circulation, diabetes, nerve damage, paralysis, or sensitive skin
should not use this product.
• If gel is punctured or leaks, discontinue use and contact HoMedics Consumer Relations.
• Adult supervision is required for use on invalids or children.
DO NOT use on infants or children under the age of 2 years. NOT for use in cribs or playpens.
DO NOT use the gel heating pad in conjunction with liniments, sports creams,
balms, or lotions.
DO NOT use on broken skin.
DO NOT fall asleep with the gel heating pad.
DO NOT ingest or inhale the gel. If ingested, seek medical attention immediately.
NOTE: The gel heating pad is NOT microwaveable.
ON-THE-GO HEAT THERAPY
You can use this item on the go for heat therapy. When it's plugged in and turned
on, the unique gel inside is reserving the heat for use on the go.
1. Once hot, disconnect the connector from the pad.
2. You can now use the heating pad in a portable manner.
HOW TO USE MOIST THERAPY FOR YOUR HEATING PAD
The moist heat option provides a deeper penetrating heat for pain relief. Follow the
instructions below for moist heat therapy.
1. Dampen the inner side of the heating pad with water by patting the surface with
a wet cloth or sponge or use a spray bottle to apply a fine mist. DO NOT soak
the pad.
2. DO NOT wet the pad connector or electrical cord.
DANGER: DO NOT IMMERSE THE PAD OR WIRING IN WATER OR PLACE UNDER
RUNNING WATER. Please make sure electrical components are fully dry before
making an electrical connection.

SPOT CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Spot clean only with a
soft, slightly damp sponge. Never allow water or any other liquids to come into
contact with the unit.
2. DO NOT immerse in any liquid to clean.
3. NEVER use abrasive cleaners, brushes, or strong chemicals that may or may
not be flammable and/or damaging to the product to clean.
NOTE: Cleaning solvents may have a deteriorating effect on the insulation of the
heating element.
TO STORE
Place the heating pad in its box or in a cool, dry place. Avoid contact with sharp
edges or pointed objects which might cut or puncture the fabric surface. To avoid
breakage, DO NOT wrap the power cord around the unit. DO NOT hang the unit by
the power cord.
