two
switches so

the

voltage shows

the cover

2. Cycle
The
X -355 can
be
opera
ted
on
either 50 or 60
cycle alternating
current.
The rear cover
panel
(Figure
5)
of
the
recorder must
be
removed
to
make
a
cycle
conversion.
For
50
cycle
operation 1 loosen
the knurled screw
on
the
belt
guide a
nd
oositiDn
the belt so
it
rides
on
the
lower
d
riving
tracks
of
the
flywheel and motor
bushing
(Figure
6).
For
60 cycle operation, loosen
the
knurled
screw and
position
the
belt
so
it
rides
on
the
u
pper driving
tracks
of
the flywheel a
nd
motor
bushing (Figure 7).
After
the
belt
is
properl
y positioned
for either operation,
tighten
the
knurled screw
a nd
reset
the
two slide
switches
located
near the
flywheel
and
the voltage
selector
cover
panel.
