    Preparation and operation Remove the device from its original packaging, check for damage, and remove any packaging material from it. Requirements for connection to the electric outlet • Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, make sure that the mains voltage in the electrical network corresponds to the data shown on the nameplate located on the bottom of the electrical base and the kettle.

    SWITCHING OFF To switch off the kettle before boiling point, switch the switch (5) to position 0 (off). The backlight led light (7) goes out. When disconnecting the appliance, disconnect the appliance from the mains. Do not open the cover when emptying the kettle. PROTECTION FOR HEATING WITHOUT WATER If you accidentally turn on the kettle when it is empty, the power-on protection without water turns it off automatically.
