    Cable and Satellite Boxes that have a HDMI digital interface should be connected to the HDMI input of the HDTV for optimal results. The LCD TV will recognize the DVI connection and obtain audio information from the audio connectors near HDMI 2 input.

    Backlight Control. This feature can be set to OFF, DCR, or OPC. Setting it to DCR allows the TV set to adjust its backlight to display dark and bright scenes with a more vivid or intense quality. OPC (optimum power control) lowers the power consumption while maintaining a good contrast ratio.

    DTV Rating This option is designed to update the TV or Movie table of different ratings for programs being viewed in your local or regional area. It will allow the parental guidance control feature in your TV to have the most current parental control database for a digital signal.
