    BEFORE FIRST USE Remove­any­labels­from­the­soleplate­before­hea- ting­the­iron. Before­using­the­steam­function­in­your­iron­for the­first­time,­we­recommend­that­you­allow­the iron­to­operate­a­few­moments­in­a­horizontal­po- sition­ without­ coming­ into­ contact­ with­ your laundry.­­Keeping­the­iron­in­this­position,­push the­turbo­steam­trigger­several­times. During­the­first­few­uses,­the­appliance­may­pro- duce­smoke,­a­harmless­odour­and­a­light­emis- sion­of­particles.­These­are­simply­the­engineering residues­from­the­manufacturing­process­burning off.­These­are­harmless­and­will­quickly­disappear.
