HOW TO USE
Tuning
•
The 17-tine kalimba comes tuned in the C-
major scale out of the box, but you might
have to do some extra tuning to make it
sound perfect.
•
You will need a tuner (not included) or a
tuner app for your phone (there are free
tuner apps for Android and iOS available,
choose one and try it).
•
Consult the following chart, then tune each
tine to the corresponding note.
•
Use the included tuning hammer to dial in
each tine.
•
If the tuning is too low, slightly push the
tine upwards. And if the tuning is too high,
slightly push it downwards.
How to play
•
There are two ways to play the kalimba.
•
Se the kalimba on a flat surface and use
your index fingers to play it, or hold it in
your hands and use your thumbs.
•
