HK Tylox HKT Quick Start Manual

Designed to replace mortared joints between connect-
ing pipes and a concrete pipe or structure, Tylox® HKT
connectors will save you construction time and money
due to:
• simple "push-fit" connection
• no special tools or equipment
• immediate back-fill
Engineered to accommodate differential settlement,
the flexible, rubber construction of the Tylox® HKT
connector allows for watertight connections of at least
5 psig (34 KPa/11.5 ft of head).
By minimizing joint leakage due to differential settle-
ment, the Tylox® HKT connector saves you operating
time and money by:
• reducing costly joint maintenance
• reducing the potential for environmental hazards
and clean-up
• reducing the chances for ground-water contami-
nation
• reducing "clean-outs" required due to soil in-
gress
Tylox® HKT connectors are available in two models:
• HKT-PMH, for connections into concrete man-
holes
• HKT-PP, for connections into concrete pipe
The HKT-PP features a built-in stop to prohibit the
intrusion of the lateral pipe into the ID of the main
pipe run.
