    This document constitutes the operation manual for the machine named Tracker - single-axis tracking photovoltaic system WS T-001 ONE. This operation manual is intended for installers, qualified personnel, the user and the custo- mer (according to definitions in Section 1.3). The manual is divided into chapters and sections. The appendices listed in Chapter 12 constitute an integral part of the manual.

Hazards caused by crushing There is a risk of being crushed during the installation of the machine axle and additional elements such as photo- voltaic modules.

Pictograms The pictograms that can be found on the machine have been described in Table 1. The customer and the user must ensure that the pictograms remain legible and clear at all times.

    3.2. Using the machine in accordance with its intended purpose The WS T-001 ONE machine is intended for rotational motion from east to west. The machine is intended for use in areas where the wind speed does not exceed 30 m/s. The manner of installation of photovoltaic modules and their dimensions have been specified in the dedicated project.

    3 Rules for use 17 / 50 DANGER Do not stand closer than 0.5 m from the machine. DANGER Do not stay in the area of machine operation when the wind speed exceeds 10 m/s. DANGER Do not conduct works on the machine when the wind speed exceeds 5 m/s. The Manufacturer shall bear no responsibility for guarantee, warranty and financial losses, if the machine is used contrary to its intended purpose.

    Preparations for transport of the machine and its components to the first customer are performed by the Manufac- turer of the machine - Corab S.A. 4.3. Package marking Packages will be marked with the name of the component and the index number. During the assembly, it is neces- sary to verify the name or index number of the element in the dedicated project, this manual and the marking on the package.

    4 Transport and storage 19/ 50 devices, transport machines must be fully operational and complete. Details on proper selection of transport elements have been presented in the dedicated project. The machine is delivered to the first customer by its Manufacturer. The Manufacturer shall hand over to the custo- mer all the machine elements according to the accepted dedicated project.
  • Page 20 20 / 50 4 Transport and storage Do not keep dirt or moisture on the surface of elements coated with an anti-corrosive layer. The water must drain freely and without obstructions. Keep the construction clean. Remove any types of sediment of soil, leaves, algae, plants, bird feces or caused by fertilizers, herbicides and other contamination that would hinder the draining of water.

Personnel and safety Preparation of machine elements for assembly, verification of their condition, preparation of appropriate tools for assembly and verification of their condition must be performed only by the installer and the qualified personnel. General safety rules have been described in Chapter 2 of this operation manual.

Operating modes The WS T-001 ONE machine can operate in the following modes: automatic - the controller calculates the optimum position of the tracker towards sun rays. For this purpose, it is necessary to provide the precise position of the Tracker (latitude and longitude) and the time zone.

Personnel and safety Works connected with the assembly of the machine and additional elements must be performed only by the instal- ler and the qualified personnel. During the assembly of the machine, take particular care when installing the rotational axle with at least 2 installers.

    6 Assembly 35 / 50 6.7. Commissioning The customer will be liable for preparing the machine and its commissioning. Before commissioning, the customer must make sure that the machine is stable, carried out according to the dedicated project, this manual and relevant regulations.

    7.4. Everyday operation The Tracker – single-axis tracking photovoltaic system WS T-001 ONE is an autonomous machine. It means that the safety and control system gather and process information to make “decisions” regarding its operation. The machine does not require everyday operation.
