6.1 Detecting Troubles

Pump does not start, although motor is switched on
:
Possible causes
Electric connections are interrupted
The pump motor does not start but produces a noisy vibration

The impeller might be obstructed
The main circuit breaker trips immediately after the machine is started

The counter-pressure at the discharge

The sealant may be damaged

Solutions:
Inspect the electrical fuses, terminals, and cables
Solutions:
Inspect the electrical fuses, terminals, and cables.
Disassemble the machine to drain, decalcify, and clean the
machine.
Reassemble the machine again.
Verify the clearance between the impeller, rotor, and housing to
ensure proper adjustment
Solutions:
Inspect the motor winding
Decrease the flow rate of the seal liquid
Reduce the counter-pressure
Decrease the quantity of Liquid
Solutions:
Inspect the motor winding
Decrease the flow rate of the seal liquid
Reduce the counter-pressure
Decrease the quantity of Liquid
Solutions:
Introduce air into the feed, install a valve on the inlet connection,
or use an anti-cavitation valve
Verify and adjust the flow rate of the sealing Liquid to ensure
proper sealing. Reduce the flow rate if it is too high
Need to change the bearings
Solutions:
Replace the sealant
