Lights in program mode. -

When thecard remote control unrtieuMd, connect the ACadaptor
or car battery adaptorto the mainunlt. The card remote control
unit cannot be used if the main unit is powered from batteries.

The keys with the same names as the keys on the main unit
function the same as
the kevs on the main unit.
Remote
control unit

. In case of vibration above a certain degree, the mermory data may be exhausted and the guard from
sound skip may become temporarily ineffective.
Setting the DA.S.C.
Each press changes the mode as follows.
O
D.A.S.C. HI
Digital data of about 20 seconds >5 stored m memory.
This IS the anti-shock play mode with a large vibra¬
tion-resistance effect.
o D.A.S.C. LOW
Digital data of about 6 seconds is stored m memory
This mode provides a lower vibration resistance but
better sound Quality than the D.A.S.C. Hi mode.
— o D.A.S.C. OFF (cancel)
When the player is used m a place free of vibration,
it is recommended to release the D.A.S.C to ex¬
tend the play time by reducing the battery power
consumption.

HOLD
switch is set to
HOLD.
• The batteries are exhausted.
• The disc is placed upside down,
• Condensation has occurred inside
the unit.
• The AC adaptor or car battery adap¬
tor is disconnected.
• Deactivate HOLD status.
• Replace all of the alkaline batteries, ^
or recharge the rechargeable batter¬
ies.
• Place the disc with the labeled side
up.
• Leave the unit for about 1 hour be¬
fore re-use,
• Connect it properly.
No sound is heard from
the headphones.
• The headphones are connected in¬
completely.
• The volume is set to the minimum
position on the main unit or remote
control unit.
• Insert the plug securely into the
headphones jack.
• Adjust the volume on the main unit
or remote control unit.
Sound skips, or is inter¬
rupted.
• The D.A.S.C. is set to "OFF".
• A strong vibration that exceeds the
capacity of the D.A.S.C. has occurred.
