Connection — Vented operation
Please be sure to read safety in-
structions on page 5 and 6
@® The distance for venting should be
as short as possible.
@® Use elbows with the largest poss-
ible radius to ensure unobstructed
air flow.
Use only non-flammable ducting -
material.
The duct |.D. should be at least 4"
(100 mm). For longer distances use
langer |.D.
If vented through an outside wall a
from Miele.
A flexible venting hose is also avail-
able from Miele.
Calculating
examples
of duct
length.
With a 4" (100 mm) diameter duct, a
total length up to 50 feet (15 m) is
possible without significant loss of air
flow (with 5" (125 mm) diameter up to
100 feet (30 rm))
@ Total duct length must consider all
elbows and/or bends.
@ Add
additional distances
for el-
bows and/or bends as per table
below.
