ASFC (Acoustic Surround Field Control)
As shown in the illustration, the sound of a piano played on the stage
of aconcert hall attains the listener as the indirect sound reflected a
few times by the reflector plates, ceiling, walls and back wall and the
reverberation sound generated by infinite reflections as well as the
direct sound from the piano to the listener.
in this way, the indirect sound with delay is an important element of the
comfortable acoustic effects and the feeling of presence in a concert
hall.
The ASFC provides a selection of five kinds of combinations of delay
times and indirect sounds (reverberation sounds) to allow simple
acoustic field adjustment.
As the acoustic field also varies depending on the layout of speakers,
try various settings to create the optimum sound field.
