ONNECTING THE
The PaperPort scanner connects to any available serial (COM) port on the
back of your computer.
To connect the PaperPort scanner:
1. Turn off the power to your computer. (Remember to save any open
files first.)
2. Plug the PC end of the serial cable into any available serial (COM)
port on the back of your computer.
If the serial port on your computer has a 25-pin connector, use the
adapter included in the box.
If the serial port on your computer is a 9-pin connector, do not use the
adapter. Plug the 9-pin end of the cable directly into the serial port on
the back of your computer.
