Genion One 43- RESET The device has a Reset button ( ) to load the factory settings: Figure 8 Soft-Reset: If the Reset button is pressed for 3 seconds, the device loads the factory settings for the communication parameters.
Genion One 5.- COMMUNICATIONS 51- RS-485 COMMUNICATIONS Genion One devices have an RS-485 communications port to communicate with the EV charger. 511- CONNECTION The RS-485 cable must be wired using twisted pair cable with mesh shield (minimum 3 wires), with a maximum distance of 1200 meters between the Genion One and the slave devices.
Wi-Fi is one of the most widespread wireless technologies today. It is used to connect electronic devic- es and exchange information between them without having to connect them physically. The Genion One devices feature Wi-Fi communications in the 2.4GHz band, and are compliant with the IEEE 802.11 b / g / n.
Note: On Android mobile devices with versions below 12.0, the DNS cannot be resolved correctly, mean- ing the Genion One website cannot be accessed via the URL http:/ /genion-xxxxxx.local/. In this case, it has to be accessed via Wi-Fi (Access Point) at the IP 192.168.137.1, provided that the device’s default Wi-Fi configuration has not been changed.
