    The device features Wi-Fi, Ethernet and RS-485. Genion One incorporates a web app that can be used to configure and display all the parameters of the home installation via Wi-Fi or Ethernet in real time.

    4.- OPERATION 4�1�- PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION Genion One is a device for managing the energy in an electrical installation that has solar panels for self-supply and an electric vehicle charging point. Genion One is designed to optimize the energy of an installation; specifically, the contracted power and the surplus produced by the self-supply installation, to regulate the charge provided to the electric vehicle.

    Genion One 4�3�- RESET The device has a Reset button ( ) to load the factory settings: Figure 8  Soft-Reset: If the Reset button is pressed for 3 seconds, the device loads the factory settings for the communication parameters.

    Genion One 5.- COMMUNICATIONS 5�1�- RS-485 COMMUNICATIONS Genion One devices have an RS-485 communications port to communicate with the EV charger. 5�1�1�- CONNECTION The RS-485 cable must be wired using twisted pair cable with mesh shield (minimum 3 wires), with a maximum distance of 1200 meters between the Genion One and the slave devices.

    Wi-Fi is one of the most widespread wireless technologies today. It is used to connect electronic devic- es and exchange information between them without having to connect them physically. The Genion One devices feature Wi-Fi communications in the 2.4GHz band, and are compliant with the IEEE 802.11 b / g / n.

    Note: On Android mobile devices with versions below 12.0, the DNS cannot be resolved correctly, mean- ing the Genion One website cannot be accessed via the URL http:/ /genion-xxxxxx.local/. In this case, it has to be accessed via Wi-Fi (Access Point) at the IP 192.168.137.1, provided that the device’s default Wi-Fi configuration has not been changed.

    Genion One Charging mode. Auto, the device will be charged as per the scheduled periods (See “6.3- SCHED- ULE”).     Genion One 6�4- CONFIGURATION In the Configuration section, , the charge currents of the EV charger are configured and the Figure 20 net hourly balance control is activated. Figure 20:Configuration� Minimum charger currents: Select the minimum charge current of each charger, in order to make the most of the surplus produced by the self-supply installation.

    Genion One Hostname shows the name of the device, which is used to establish the connection and go into the web app. In Date and time configuration, the system date and time can be modified. Click Save to save the changes made.

Note: Genion One is designed to work on a local home network.In any case, if you wish to access it from outside a home setting, a VPN or similar network has to be set up.Under no circumstances does Circutor accept responsibility for configuring networks outside a local network.
