3. Install the top trim piece by placing it over the inner
edge of the front. Hook the back of the trim over the
base extrusion and then rock it forward. Lightly tap it
with a rubber mallet to snap into place, starting in the
middle and working toward the sides. See Figure 2.

4. Repeat step 3 for the left and right sides of the front.
5. To install the bottom piece, hold the trim by the ends
with the front edge facing you. Slightly bow the trim
piece so that you can engage the left and right ends
under the bottom of the left and right trim pieces. Be
careful not to scratch the trim or the decorative front.
Once in place, lightly tap it with a rubber mallet to snap
it into place. See Figure 3.
6. Ensure all of the trim pieces are fully seated with an
even reveal as illustrated in Figure 3. To remedy an
uneven reveal, place an object with a blunt edge, such
as a block of wood, and tap lightly in order to seat the
trim piece.
7. Install the Portrait Decorative front, complete with trim,
on the appliance according to the instructions included
with the decorative front.

Cleaning Instructions for Decorative Fronts and Trim
Use a microfi ber cloth and Windex® Original Glass
Cleaner to clean the decorative front immediately after
installation to remove acids deposited by the installer or
technician. Spray the cleaner onto the microfi ber cloth
and carefully wipe the entire surface. The decorative
front should be cleaned in this manner annually by the
homeowner to remove fi ngerprints or other contaminants.
Once oxidation of the fi nish has occurred, cleaning will
not restore the original color.
