Sunshade on the rear window

The rear window sunshade can be set so that it
retracts automatically when driving in reverse. To
do this, select: ICARlfu nction button> (Car) * sys-
tem s contro l button > Vehicle settings > Auto -
matic rear blind > On . The sunshade is extended
again as soon as the vehicle is trave li ng forwa rd
at a speed greater than
9
mph
(15
km/h) if the
ignit ion has not been switched off in the mean-
time.

WARNING
-
Never operate the rear wi ndow sunshade
w ithou t paying at tent ion or in an uncontr ol-
led manner. Pinching could cause serious inju -
ries.

Tips
- Pressing t he~ but ton several ti mes in a
row can t rigge r the overl oad pro t ection. The
sunshade can on ly be exten ded/re t racted
again after a brief waiting period .
- The rear win dow sunshade only functions
whe n the vehicle interior is warmer tha n
14° F (-10°C) .

Rain sensor mode. The w indshield w ipers
switch on once the veh icle speed exceeds approx -
imately 2 mp h (4 km/h) and it is raining . The
higher the sensitivity of the rain sensor that is set
(switch @ to the rig ht), the earlier the wind-
shield wipers react t o mo isture on the wind-
shield . You can deact ivate the rain sensor mode
in the Info t ainmen t syst em, wh ich switches t he
inte rmitte nt mode on . Select: ICARI f unct ion but-
ton

mode, you can adjust the interval time using the

Singl e wipe. If you hold the lever in th is posi-
tion longer, the wipers switch from slow wiping
to fast wiping.
® - Clean the windshield . The wipers w ipe one
time after several seconds of driving to remove
water droplets. You can switch thi s function off
by moving the lever to posit ion ® within

sec-
onds of t he afte rwipe . The afterwipe fu nction is
react ivat ed t he next time you switch t he ignit ion
on.
Clean the headlight s*. The headlight washer sys-
tem* operates only whe n the low beam head-
light s are on. If you move t he lever to posit ion
