Kitchen Composter Congratulations on purchasing your Russell Hobbs Electric Kitchen Composter. Each unit is manufactured to ensure safety and reliability. Before using this appliance for the first time, please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference.

1. Please place the electric composter on a horizontal worktop. 2. When using the electric composter, keep away from children. 3. Before cleaning the electric composter, turn off the power and unplug the power plug and wait to cool before cleaning. 4.
GETTING TO KNOW YOUR COMPOSTER The Russell Hobbs Electric Kitchen Composter produces a substance called pre-compost. This is an early active phase of composting. The unit will speed up the natural decomposition cycle as it runs for 2-7 hours before completing a single cycle.
POWER BUTTON After plugging in the appliance and closing the lid, touch the power button once to start the composting function. To pause the composting function, press the button again. AUTOMATIC CLEANING BUTTON To clean the unit, fill the pot halfway with clean water, plug the appliance in and press the automatic cleaning button once to start the cleaning function.
Cooling stage INSERTING THE MIXING POT: ● It’s important to ensure the arrows on the pot and unit align otherwise the unit will not function. ● Make sure that the handle is also placed flat towards the back of the unit as per the picture above.
