    Pulsar XT Installation STEP 1 - To prevent causing trouble codes, disconnect the negative terminal on the battery using a 10mm socket and socket wrench.
  • Page 8 Pulsar XT Installation Cont’d STEP 2 - Remove the two 7mm bolts on the bottom of the lower dash panel.
  • Page 9 Pulsar XT Installation Cont’d STEP 3 - Pull the lower dash panel while out being careful not to break the plastic clips. See image for plastic clip locations. STEP 4 - To make the CAN junction box more accessible, use a trim tool to carefully work around the 6 clips on the lighting switch panel.

    Fix 1: Double check all Pulsar XT connections, and make sure all connections are fully making contact. Fix 2: If codes are still coming up, use the Pulsar XT app to read and clear codes, and then drive the vehicle to see if they come back up.
