- Page 3 Installing Foot Pegs Stacyc® model 18-20 edrive Tools required: No. 2 Phillips Screwdriver, 5mm. Allen Wrench, Hacksaw or Jig Saw, Blue Loctite® No. 2 Phillips 5mm. Allen Wrench. Hacksaw. Screwdriver. Parts Included. x2 pcs. 6x1mm Allen Bolts. Qty.1 Left & 1 Right Billet Peg with wedges. Step 1.
- Page 4 Step 3. Remove both screws from floorboard. You will not reuse these screws. Step 4. Lift floorboard from the rear and slide forward to remove. Step 5. Lay bike on it’s side and remove wedge plate, pry it out with your fingers or flatblade screwdriver. Wedge Plate.
- Page 5 Step 6. Place your New! Billet foot peg on the top of the floorboard flange. Install 6mm bolt through the top hole in the footpeg. Bolt threads into wedge on bottom side. Tapered side of the wedge goes to the outside of the bike.
- Page 6 Step 7. With diagram provided below trim floorboard with hacksaw. Save center- piece for re-installing on bike. Finished trimmed center piece from flooboard. Use sandpaper on sides where cuts were made if desired to smooth finish. Trimmed Center Piece from Floorboard Page 5...
- Page 7 Step 8. Put side covers back on bike. Insert all screws but do not tighten. Leave covers loose so you can insert center piece and battery receptacle. Warning: Be careful not to pinch wires from battery receptacle to speed controller when installing, make sure wires are not in the way of your screws and get pinched.
