Bass Drum Assembly
a) Take the drum head with the 'RockJam' logo and place it on the front of
the bass drum. (The front is the side nearest to the leg support brackets.)
Line up the logo with the top of the drum.
Place a bass d rum hoop over the rim of the d rum aligning the four holes with
the lugs around the sid e of the drum.
Take the tension rods and thread a washer onto each one before inserting
them through the hoop and screwing them into the lugs. (A spare lug insert
is included if required.) Hand tighten all four tensions rods then use the drum
key to tighten them further. Be careful not to over-tighten them as this could
result in splitting the skin or damage to the lugs.
Repeat this procedure for the other bass d rum head.
b) Insert the bass d rum spurs into the brackets near the front of the drum.
Adjust them to the required length and tighten the wing nuts to secure them.
c) Insert the beater into the pedal and tighten the nut using the d rum key.
Attach the ped al claw to the hoop of the bass d rum and tighten the wing nut
to hold it in place.
