    OPERATION CHECKING BATTERY CAPACITY Note: The battery is not shipped fully charged. It is recommended to fully charge before first use to ensure that maximum run time can be achieved. This lithium-ion battery will not develop a memory and can be charged at any time. Press the battery capacity indicator (BCI) button.
  • Page 9 OPERATION CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK Battery packs are shipped in a low charge condition to prevent possible problems. Therefore, you should charge before first use. If the charger does not charge the battery pack under normal circumstances, return both the battery pack and charger to your nearest Authorized Service Center for service.
